Women Into Business
A two year multi-partner transnational project involving institutions from three separate countries, the UK: Scotland and Northern Ireland, Italy and Turkey. The focus is to establish and promote the development of women entrepreneurs throughout Europe and to improve the quality of female enterprise support. The target group are women from disadvantaged backgrounds. The specific objectives of the project are to build on existing research on women into business, skills development in female entrepreneurship and the development of a model for best practice in the form of a booklet. These are supported through education and training initiatives, developing links with appropriate advisory services and funding bodies and engaging with successful women entrepreneurs in each of the partner countries.
